What price should I ask for my car?
Use CLASSIC.COM to determine the right asking price for your classic, exotic, or specialty car.
When listing your classic, exotic, or specialty car for sale, several factors influence the right asking price. Key elements include the car's year, make, model, originality or modifications, mileage, color, and more. To determine the ideal price, it's crucial to consider recent sales of similar vehicles.
On CLASSIC.COM, you can determine the asking price for your car in two ways:
1. In the Listing Builder
When you create a new listing for your car, we’ll provide a suggested asking price along with the most relevant recent comparable sales ("Comps"). You can set your asking price in the Listing Builder and list your car for sale right away. While using the suggested price is not mandatory, it’s highly recommended to attract the most interest in your listing.

2. In your Garage
If you’re not ready to sell your car yet but want to know its value, you can add the vehicle details to your Garage on CLASSIC.COM. You'll see the same comparable sales data available in the Listing Builder, and we’ll send you monthly alerts when new comparable sales impact your car’s market value based on the specs you’ve provided.
When you're ready to sell, you can seamlessly transfer all the information from your Garage entry into a new Listing and sell your car directly on CLASSIC.COM.
