How can I sell my car with CLASSIC.COM?

Listings can be added by auctions, dealers, and private sellers.

Direct Listings for Private Sellers

Private Sellers in the United States and Canada can create listings on CLASSIC.COM for cars that qualify as classic, exotic, or specialty. All listings require the following information:

  • Year, Make, and Model
  • VIN/Chassis number
  • Location at time of sale
  • Odometer reading (mileage or km)
  • Asking Price (we do not accept "Inquire for Price" listings)
  • Email address of the seller (to receive contact details from interested buyers)

Managed Listings for Private Sellers

We offer a full-service program called "Managed Listings" for private sellers with specialty cars in the United States that have a value over $20,000.

If your car is accepted into this program, you will be matched with one of our verified partners who will handle the entire sale for you – including valuation, photography, write-up, marketing, and auction management (if applicable).

You can expect to pay a setup fee plus a commission – typically between 5-10% of the final sale price.

Auctions & Dealers

Most of our auction & dealer partners provide listings and results through an API or data feed. We integrate with all of the top IMS/DMS providers. We also offer a manual upload for boutique dealers with less than 10 listings, and custom connections for larger dealers and auctions.
